Ethereum Layer-3 gaming network Xai is introducing “Tiny Sentry Keys,” an affordable NFT pass priced at $55.
The initiative is intended to lower the entry cost for participation in Xai’s rewards ecosystem, which has already distributed significant benefits to its users.
With a planned launch date to be announced on December 9, this development could expand the network’s reach within the blockchain gaming sector.
What are Tiny Sentry Keys?
Tiny Sentry Keys are scaled-down versions of Xai’s existing Sentry Keys, which serve as NFT-based licenses for operating nodes on the network.
Whilst the original Sentry Keys cost 1.43 ETH (approximately $5,520), the Tiny Keys will be available for 0.0143 ETH (around $55). These Tiny Keys will grant access to rewards and benefits within the Xai ecosystem but at a lower rate compared to the standard Keys.
The Sentry Key system is part of Xai’s strategy to incentivize network support. To date, approximately $340 million in rewards, including XAI token airdrops, have been distributed through this program.
How to purchase Tiny Sentry Keys?
To make the Tiny Keys accessible to a broader audience, Xai will allow purchases through credit and debit cards via Crossmint, in addition to cryptocurrency payments. XAI tokens will be accepted, with plans to incorporate other major cryptocurrencies in the future.
Current Sentry Key holders will also benefit from this rollout, receiving an airdrop of 99 Tiny Keys each. This addition is expected to further incentivize engagement within the network.
An exact sale date for Tiny Sentry Keys will be announced on December 9. With this launch, Xai aims to expand its user base and encourage wider participation in its decentralized rewards ecosystem.
